In order to control fast growing cyber threats on Internet, Korea National Police Agency sent a delegation group with 14 cyber crime investigators for cyber crime prevention training program held by Decision Group Taiwan and Institute for Information Industry in Taipei, Taiwan from 12 to 17 Dec., 2010.
Crime on Internet keeps on growing every year as cyber fraud, phishing, identity stealing…etc, whereas data leakage, cyber terror will impact national security worse than before in the world. “In order to prevent such crime,” said Mr. Casper Chang, CEO of Decision Group, “we need to implement a total solution covered application systems, internal security procedure, employee training and long-term development program.”
Korean Police Delegation Group led by Choi In-suk, Superintendent of Anti Cyber Terror Center in Korean National Police Agency, took five-day Cyber Crime Investigation and Forensic Training program in Civil Service Training Center of Fuhwa International House, Taipei, Taiwan. In this period, they also had a seminar with several Taiwan experts on cyber crime prevention and legal process, visited High Tech Crime Center of Crime Investigation Bureau, Taiwan Police Agency. “It was a successful communication between Korean and Taiwan police officials for the first time after diplomatic tie disconnected.” said Casper.”It means that both Taiwan and Korean cyber police will cooperate to fight against increasing cross border cyber crimes together.”
