New Technology and Solutions Update in Decision Group 2013 Forensic Analysis on Network Packet Training Program
<From Taipei> For the past decade, Internet becomes the most popular way for people to communicate and exchange idea, because it covers all the possible means – characters, picture, voice and video – that people can ever use. Time for link on Internet becomes real time or near real time, whereas cost of communication through global network becomes cheaper and cheaper by day. This phenomenon has never happened before in mankind history, and gradually shaped global civilization into a better world for all people.
On the other hand, there is still shadow behind Internet, i.e. Cyber Crimes and Terrorism on the cloud. Cyber crime is depraving our trust in cyber world, whereas terrorism on the cloud is trying to deteriorate our civilization. Though law enforcement authority tries all possible ways to put down with these cyber pests, they are still rampant on the cyber world.
Network forensic technology is the powerful weapon to curb these cyber pests for law enforcement authority in order to protect civil lives and property. It doesn’t only provide the capability to expose the plots of those cyber criminals, but it can be used to prevent such tragedies happened again.
In Chinese, there is a saying: “When God has his church, the devil will have his chapel.” The game between LEA and cyber criminal is just like the one between cat and mouse. The reason behind is the rapid progress of network technology. New technology will increase the protection of private data and speed of traffic delivery, and it often increases the difficulty of the data tracking and access identification on Internet. LEA staff faces more challenges when they conduct cyber investigation on those criminals and terrorists.

This course is Forensic Analysis on Network Packet Training (NPFAT), which is 3 to 5 day session with cyber crime investigation process, introduction on network protocol, deployment of network forensic devices, primary data analysis and drills.
Every year, we also add more material to include the newly developed features and skill with our network forensic solutions in this training in order to have all attendees keep up with the new progress. We think it is very important for those attendees to apply this knowledge in their job to fight with cyber criminals and terrorists.
At this moment, there are more than 3,000 attendees from 56 countries taking this training package in Training Centers of Decision Group or authorized partners for the past 4 years. We also provide the Train-the-Training (TTT) program to our authorized partners in the world.
In 2013, we just revise our training material with more advanced technology and skill for LEA staff worldwide.
